Lead Copywriter is seeking a talented and experienced Lead Copywriter to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating and executing on high-quality copy, working to ensure our brand’s messaging is consistent and engaging. You will work with our team to develop, maintain, and continuously improve our copywriting style guide and standards. You will partner with our design, marketing, and product teams to ensure our copy is on-brand, on-message, and effective.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of compelling, on-brand copy for a variety of mediums, from blog posts, website copy, emails, and social media posts
- Develop and maintain our copywriting style guide and standards
- Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure our copy is on-brand, on-message, and effective
- Collaborate with our design and product teams to develop innovative copywriting solutions
- Monitor and track copywriting performance and make adjustments as needed
- Assess industry trends to ensure our messaging is timely and relevant
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in copywriting or content creation, preferably in a corporate setting
- Extensive knowledge of copywriting best practices and techniques
- Proficiency in SEO research and optimization
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a highly creative team
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work quickly with multiple projects simultaneously by meeting deadlines
